Idea for the AIR-VAC

The new 2018 AIR-VAC was designed as a replacement to our 2010 unit yet the basics still remain; narrow, all-terrain, independent and as powerful as possible.

Narrow

With a width of 1200mm, the AIR-VAC is ideal for footpath or narrow access working where operation from the road or implementing traffic management isn't an option.

Remote Control

Fully proportional remote control system offering better safety and productivity. Enables the operation of the AIR-VAC 4 from safer grounds with better vantage points, and at reduced levels of vibration.

Lightweight but Robust

At 2750kg the AIR-VAC 4 has great weight distribution for off-road, tipping and loading operations.

Easy to Mobilise

With a gross tare weight of 2750 kg, the AIR-VAC 4 unit is exceptionally easy to mobilise to site, utilising existing fleet vehicles.

Exterior Design

The AIR-VAC 4 design allows easy corporate colours and decals to be presented.

Debris Skip & Tipping

A large hinged debris door and inclined skip with PE lined base allows the operatives to quickly and easily clean out.

Cleaning the Filters

Couldn’t be easier. The AIR-VAC 4 design allows quick, almost dust free clean-off. The filters can also be quickly removed for power washing.

Easy Loading & Securing

Mobilising to site quickly and safely is paramount. Utilising the rear trailer coupling and convenient tie down points makes it just that.

Hydraulic Power

A dual circuit hydraulic system allows for multi-tooling to be utilised such as breakers, cut-off saws, corers, tampers to name a few.

E-Stop

Located centrally on the AIR-VAC allows for fast, easy reach.

Lighting

The use of LED lighting is a big feature on the AIR-VAC 4. Amber warning, working and tracking warning LED lights are used to warn and inform operatives and others of the AIR-VAC's presence.

Non-Conductive Excavation

The excavation tooling is constructed from a mix of aluminium and PE plastic. This provides a degree of protection from electric shock hazards.

Zero HAVS

All the VAC-EX Tooling is vibration tested with HAVI®. Please contact us for more information.

Hose inlet Size

Utilising a 150mm/ 6” inlet, the AIR-VAC has industry leading power to size ratio.

Rail Ballast

Handles Rail Ballast with ease.

Dry Excavation

The AIR-VAC 4 has primarily been designed to excavate dry, although can be used for hydro-excavation, slurries and water.

Clays

The AIR-VAC 4 can handle clayey ground but tends to be slower. Contact us to discuss how to get the best results.

High Efficiency Filtration

Our filtration system allows for repeated use between loads without the loss of power.

Depths

Whilst most excavations are in the region of 1.5m, the AIR-VAC is quite capable of operating at 6m depth.

Efficiency

Whilst power is an important requirement, we feel its important to use it efficiently. Average users do not exceed 20 litres per day.

Top Inlet & Porthole

Utilised for prolonged hydro-excavating and allows easier connection to auxillary debris skips.

AIR-EX Lance

The industry leading tool for ground decompaction and clearance of spoil from underground assets. Powered from an external towed or vehicle mounted compressor.

Filter Blaster

Allows for safe operation and handling of compressed air whilst cleaning down the filters.

Top Inspection Hatch

Allows quick & easy access into the debris tank for inspection & clean out.
